The most successful games have in common are that they have higher graphics and more colourful. The other games have more actions and narrative, where these games involves interaction with other people to socialise and treat it as an escapism. Some are in first person where its narrative contains more violence, allowing the audience to be in the perspectives of their character, this links to personal identity as it allows the audience to relate to the character.

Fortnite is so popular as it's fun and has a very silly offbeat sense of humour. Fortnite: Battle Royale has very bright, almost cartoon-like graphics. The audience pleasures of the game is escapism as it allows the audience to have fun and forget about their problems in reality for a moment as the game is entertaining.

Some people might criticise Fortnite as some parents find it violent and other audience find it too addicting.

"Most parents of younger children or teenagers aren’t that supportive of games in general nowadays, and this article serves to contradict the usual drivel about violence and such." I agree with the comment as most parents wouldn't support their child if they know that the game that their child is playing involves violence as it might influence the mindset of their child.
"The lack of a story beyond kill all the opposition seems a little lazy to me, but then I'm old and not an online gamer." I disagree with the comment as age isn't really a problem to stop an audience from continuing on playing the game. Also, the audience shouldn't feel that they have to play an online game that involves interacting with other people to be an online gamer, the game that they play could also be educational.
