-TV and Radio are regulated by Ofcom by producing a code of cnduct to follow or have their license to make content removed and/or be fined heavily. This includes what can be shown before the 9pm watershed and various other quality standards.

6) How do Doctor Who and His Dark Materials help the BBC to meet the BBC's remit to inform, educate and entertain? Answer this question in at least 150 words.
-Doctor Who help BBC to meet the BBC's remit to inform, educate and entertain by them showing a scientific series that would keep them interested as they added some strange sounds when being close to the TARDIS, that keeps them interested about the series and who the Doctor is. For HDM, they showed an enigmatic, adventurous and diverse series that keeps the audience entertained and gives them an engrossed feeling on what to happen next. The BBC was able to produce HDM series to show entertainment for the modern world by using a diverse characters and roles. The BBC was able to produce their series entertainable To educate, for HDM they showed how people are from different worlds, which leads to audience to learn that some people are different and that they should respect them; how diversity works. In Doctor Who they showed how the science work and learn some informations about aliens. To entertain, for Doctor Who, they showed how the Doctor kidnapped the teachers and travelled to a different world. This links to the audience getting curious as to where they are going and what will happen to the teachers. The BBC was able to keep the audience entertained by showing what is really looks like inside the TARDIS when they took off, and how it looked outsidem, when the picture of the earth is zooming out. In HDM, they showed how Lyra and Pan talking to each other and Will being scared. The BBC was able to keep the audience entertained by using a talking to animal with Lyra. In addition, using Will as a characer from the modern world shows what the audience would feel and react to the talking animal if they're in the series.
